About Us

We live in a culturally diverse suburb, close to downtown and to many playgrounds, lakes, creeks, and trails. We work from home, Osvaldo as an editor, translator, poet, and artist, and Shanna as a writer and clinician in private practice. 

In the spring, summer, and fall, we spend as much time as possible in the garden, where we enjoy planting and tending native grasses and flowers, watching the birds, butterflies, and bees, making homemade bouquets, and hosting yard parties. In the winter, we like to cook and run errands, work at cafes and run at the Mississippi River, and curl up in the evening with a book and a fire in the fireplace. On the weekends, we work on creative projects - drawing, wood-working, and writing - and we adventure, going out for pizza, visiting llama farms, seeing shows at the Children's Theater, and just hanging out with friends, family, and our honorary nieces and nephews. 

We would love to share all of these things with our future child, as well as to try all kinds of new things as our child discovers their own interests and history. 

We are ready and willing to share our lives and to transform in any way needed to parent our future child!
